Sergey Bednov, Director General, EXPOCENTRE AO
“The first edition of the Inlegmash was held in 1970. It means that this year it celebrates its 50-year anniversary with the 20th edition of the show. For over half a century, it has showcased accomplishments and developments of the Russian and global textile industry and has been the year’s most important textile event.”
Sergey Katyrin, President, the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry
“Every exhibition today is a significant event for us. We have been under restrictions for so long that now we really appreciate every opportunity to see each other face to face. This exhibition is an opportunity to see what is best in the industry right now. Therefore, it is very important for us to be able to showcase Russian brands, especially regional brands. EXPOCENTRE, authorities of Russian regions and regional chambers of commerce and industry have done a lot of work to organise this Week.”
Andrey Razbrodin, President, Souzlegprom – the Russian Union of Textile Industry Enterprises
“The textile industry has mastered new forms of work in no time, in particular, online and other formats. It has mitigated the effects of the prolonged lockdown, retained the majority of human resources, and thus prevented significant decrease of production and sales volume. This is also encouraged by resumption of exhibitions and conventions and holding of the Interfabric and Inlegmash international exhibitions in March of this year.”

A special showcase was organised by the Inlegmash management team (EXPOCENTRE AO) and Smart-T.
Leading market players took part in the Digital Factory showcase. CAD was shown by Assol, printing and cutting by Smart-T, Mimaki, TitanJet, and PHOTONIM, automated sewing industrial equipment by KNIT. It made it possible to demonstrate all aspects of modern digital production to industry professionals. The Digital Factory undoubtedly became an important centre of attraction for textile and garment industry professionals interested in the latest technological developments.
Specialists from the companies participating in the Digital Factory explained in detail the specifics of the technological processes and answered any questions of the visitors. Such a mini production, deployed within Inlegmash 2021, and the active participation of suppliers of technical solutions is evidence of the high interest of Russian companies in the active implementation of the latest digital technologies at domestic textile enterprises.
As part of the exhibition's 20th anniversary, the Inlegmash 1970-2021 photo exhibition was organised for visitors and exhibitors. They could not only learn about the history of Inlegmash and see its unique footage, but also trace the development of the Russian and foreign textile and garment industry.

This format of the Week provided industry professionals with every opportunity to get acquainted with developments in all areas of the textile and garment industry, which were demonstrated by major Russian and foreign companies.
Feedback of the exhibitors and visitors about Inlegmash 2021 confirms the success and relevance of the exhibition: they received updated information, held productive negotiations, concluded profitable contracts, and generated many new sales leads and partners.
